Since its inception, the Christian and Missionary Alliance has used the Cross, the Washing Basin, the Oil Bottle and the Crown to symbolise the completeness of the gospel of Christ.
The Cross – Jesus is our Saviour (Luke 19:10)
It symbolises Christ being crucified for our sins and becoming the salvation of every believer.
The Washing Basin – Jesus is our Sanctifier（1 Corinthians 1:30）
It symbolises God’s grace that sanctifies us, enabling us to be cleansed daily.
The Oil Bottle – Jesus is our greatest doctor (Matthew 8:17）
It symbolises the Holy Spirit and healing.
The Crown – Jesus is our Coming King (Matthew 24:14）
It symbolises the coming of the Lord, and the rewards received by those believers who share in the glory of Christ.
